The World Football Festival Secretariat (hereafter referred to as "the Secretariat") is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of the services provided on this website (hereafter referred to as "the Services"). (hereinafter referred to as the "Secretariat") shall handle the personal information of users for the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as the "Services"). The Project Office may request personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, and e-mail address when a User makes an inquiry to the Project Office.

3. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

The purposes for which the Project Office collects and uses personal information are as follows

  • ・To provide and operate the Secretariat's services
  • ・To respond to inquiries from users (including identification)
  • ・To contact users as necessary for maintenance, important notices, etc.
  • ・For purposes incidental to the above purposes of use.

4. Change of Purposes of Use

  • ・The Project Office shall change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized that the purpose of use is related to the purpose of use before the change.
  • ・In the event that the purpose of use is changed, the Secretariat shall notify the User or publicly announce on the Website the purpose of use after the change by the method prescribed by the Secretariat.

5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

  • ・Except in the following cases, the Project Office will not provide personal information to a third party without the prior consent of the User. However, this excludes cases permitted under the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations.
  • ・When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.
  • ・Cases in which the provision of personal information is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children and in which it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual concerned
  • ・When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to execute affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the consent of the individual is likely to impede the execution of those affairs.

6. Disclosure of Personal Information

A fee of 1,000 yen will be charged for each case of disclosure of personal information.
  • ・If there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the person concerned or a third party
  • ・If there is a risk of causing significant hindrance to the proper conduct of the business of this bureau
  • ・In case of violation of any other laws or regulations.
  • ・In principle, the Company will not disclose information other than personal information, such as historical information and characteristic information, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

7. Correction and Deletion of Personal Information

  • ・In the event that a User's personal information held by the Secretariat is incorrect, the User may request the Secretariat to correct, add to, or delete (hereinafter referred to as "correct, etc.") the User's personal information in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company. The Secretariat may request the correction, addition, or deletion of personal information (hereinafter referred to as "Correction, etc.") from the User in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company.
  • ・If the Secretariat determines that it is necessary to respond to such a request upon receiving a request from a User as described in the preceding paragraph, the Secretariat shall make corrections, etc. to such personal information without delay.
  • ・If the Secretariat determines that it is necessary to respond to such a request, it shall make such correction, etc. to the relevant personal information without delay.

8. Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.

  • ・In the event that the Project Office is requested by an individual to cease using or delete (hereinafter referred to as "cease of use, etc.") his/her personal information on the grounds that it has been handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or that it has been obtained through wrongful means, the Project Office shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay. If a request is made to stop the use of or delete personal information (hereinafter referred to as "suspension of use, etc.") on the grounds that it has been handled beyond the scope of the purpose for which it was used or that it was obtained by improper means, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
  • ・If, based on the results of the investigation described in the preceding paragraph, it is determined that it is necessary to comply with the request, the use of the relevant personal information will be suspended, etc. without delay.
  • ・If the Office determines that it is necessary to respond to such a request based on the results of the investigation described in the preceding paragraph, the Office will notify the User of such determination without delay.
  • ・Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if the suspension of use, etc. involves a large amount of cost or is otherwise difficult to implement, and if alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the User can be taken, such alternative measures shall be taken.

9. Changes to Privacy Policy

  • ・The contents of this Privacy Policy may be changed without notice to the User, except as otherwise provided for in laws and regulations or in this Policy.
  • ・Unless otherwise specified by the Secretariat, the Privacy Policy after modification shall take effect from the time it is posted on the Website.
